- 1 Violife Just Like cheddar shreds
- ½ cup unsalted Violife plant butter, melted
- 4 cups strong White Flour Hard flour
- 1 Jar of Onion Jam/chutney
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- 1 cup lukewarm water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp of salt
- In a large bowl, mix the white flour, sugar, salt and yeast.
- Make a well in the center and pour in the melted butter and lukewarm water.
- Bring everything together to form a dough.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for a few minutes until smooth.
- Return the dough to the bowl, cover with a towel and leave to rise in a warm place for an hour.
- Once the dough has doubled in size, spread it on a lightly floured surface and roll it out into a rectangle.
- Spread the onion chutney evenly over the dough, top with the grated cheese and roll closed.
- Divide into 8 equal portions using a knife and place into a round skillet.
- Cover loosely with cling film and place it in a warm place for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake for 30-40 minutes until golden.
- Serve and enjoy straight from the skillet.
