Undairy the Craving: Terms of Use

As you read these AI Terms, please keep in mind that they apply to Flora Food Global Principal B.V. and all other Flora Food Group companies ("Flora FG").

These Terms of Use ("AI Terms") govern your use of the AI-powered recipe generation feature ("AI Recipe Tool") available at violife.com/en-us/undairy-the-craving. These AI Terms supplement the Flora FG’s Terms of Use ("General Terms"), which continue to apply.

In the event of any conflict between these AI Terms and the General Terms, these AI Terms shall prevail in respect of your use of the AI Recipe Tool.

By using the AI Recipe Tool, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these AI Terms and the General Terms.

1) About the AI Recipe Tool

1.1 The AI Recipe Tool uses artificial intelligence to generate dairy-free recipe suggestions incorporating Violife products, based on user inputs (e.g., dish names, descriptions, or uploaded images).

1.2   Recipes are generated automatically by AI and are not individually reviewed, tested, or verified by Flora FG, its employees, or any qualified nutritionist, dietitian, or food   safety professional prior to being displayed to you.

2) No Reliance

2.1 AI-generated recipes are provided for general inspiration and informational purposes only. They do not constitute dietary, nutritional, medical, or food safety advice.

2.2   Flora FG does not warrant or represent that any AI-generated recipe will be:

• accurate, complete, or error-free;
• safe for consumption, including in respect of allergens, intolerances, or dietary restrictions;
• nutritionally balanced or suitable for any particular health condition or dietary requirement; or
• compliant with applicable food safety standards or regulations in your jurisdiction.

2.3  You are solely responsible for independently verifying the suitability, safety, and accuracy of any AI-generated recipe before preparing or consuming any food based on it. This includes (without limitation) checking all ingredients for potential allergens and ensuring safe food handling and cooking practices.

2.4  If you have any food allergies, intolerances, or medical conditions, you should consult a qualified healthcare professional before relying on any AI-generated recipe.

3) User Inputs

3.1 When using the AI Recipe Tool, you may submit text prompts, descriptions, or images ("User Inputs"). You represent and warrant that:

• you have the right to submit all User Inputs;
• your User Inputs do not infringe the intellectual property rights or other rights of any third party; and
• your User Inputs are not unlawful, offensive, harmful, or otherwise in breach of the General Terms.

3.2   You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Flora Food Global Principal B.V. and its affiliates, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with any third-party claim that your User Inputs infringe or misappropriate any intellectual property right or other proprietary right of any third party, to the extent that such claim results from your breach of the warranties set out above.

3.3 You grant Flora FG a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, sub-licensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, and display your User Inputs for the purposes of operating, improving, and promoting the AI Recipe Tool and Flora FG’s products and services.

3.4 Flora FG may use anonymised or aggregated data derived from User Inputs for analytics, product development, and service improvement purposes.

4) Intellectual Property in AI-Generated Recipes

4.1 Recipes generated by the AI Recipe Tool ("AI Outputs") are produced by artificial intelligence and may not attract copyright protection under applicable law.

4.2   To the extent that any intellectual property rights subsist in AI Outputs, such rights are owned by or licensed to Flora FG.

4.3 You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use AI Outputs for your personal, non-commercial purposes only (e.g., preparing the recipe at home).

4.4 You may not, without Flora FG’s prior written consent:

• reproduce, republish, or distribute AI Outputs for commercial purposes;
• claim authorship or ownership of AI Outputs;
•  use AI Outputs to train, develop, or improve any competing AI model or service; or
• present AI Outputs as professionally verified, tested, or endorsed recipes.

5) Age Restriction

5.1 The AI Recipe Tool is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. By using the AI Recipe Tool, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.

5.2 Flora FG does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 18 through the AI Recipe Tool. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete such data promptly. 6) Acceptable Use of the AI Recipe Tool

6.1 You agree to use the AI Recipe Tool only for its intended purpose of generating dairy-free recipe ideas. You shall not:

• attempt to manipulate, reverse-engineer, or extract the underlying AI model, algorithms, or training data;
• use the AI Recipe Tool to generate content that is unlawful, harmful, offensive, or infringes any third party's rights;
• use automated scripts, bots, or other programmatic means to access or interact with the AI Recipe Tool; or
• use the AI Recipe Tool in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the service or interfere with any other user's use.

7) Limitation of Liability 

7.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Flora FG, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense (whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with:

• your use of, or reliance on, any AI-generated recipe or AI Output;
• any allergic reaction, illness, injury, or adverse health effect resulting from the preparation or consumption of food based on an AI-generated recipe;
• any inaccuracy, error, or omission in any AI Output; or
• any unavailability, interruption, or malfunction of the AI Recipe Tool.

7.2 Nothing in these AI Terms excludes or limits Flora FG’s liability for

• death or personal injury caused by its negligence; 
•  fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or 
•  any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

8)  Modifications and Availability

8.1 Flora FG reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the AI Recipe Tool (in whole or in part) at any time without prior notice.

8.2 Flora FG may update these AI Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the AI Recipe Tool after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated AI Terms.

9)  Governing Law

9.1 These AI Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, unless Flora FG specifies otherwise. The courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any disputes arising out of or in connection with these AI Terms.
