Double Premium Vegan Pizza

- 1 pack store-bought vegan pizza dough
FOR THE SAUCE :
- 400 ml can crushed tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 onion diced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp organic granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes to taste
FOR THE PIZZA :
- 1 pack Violife grated mozzarella
- 1 pack Violife grated original
- 2 tbsp olive oil divided
- 2 tbsp cornmeal divided
- 1/2 cup sliced fresh basil leaves
- Start by making your tomato sauce. Add the onion to a saucepan and sauté until soft. Then add the garlic and sauté until it turns golden. Add the crushed tomatoes, oregano, and tomato paste. Slowly bring to a simmer and then add sugar, salt, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Use a rolling pin to make a pizza shape with your pizza dough. Top with the sauce and then sprinkle Violife Grated Mozzarella and Violife Grated Original. Place on a lined baking tray and bake the pizza until the crust is golden on the edges, around 15-20 minutes.
- Sprinkle with fresh basil and serve.
