Seasonal Grilled Potatoes

  • 200 g Violife Cheddar Flavour block grated
  • 1 kg baby potatoes
  • 100 g margarine
  • 2 garlic cloves sliced
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 1 tbsp rosemary
  • chives
  • 2 tbsp sweet paprika
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt & freshly ground pepper
  1. Wash the potatoes and boil for 10’, until they become a bit soft. Remove pot from the heat and set aside for 5 minutes, before you cut them in half.
  2. In a medium sized frying pan, add a bit of olive oil and margarine. Add the potatoes and sauté slightly. Place them in a bowl and add thyme, rosemary, garlic, chives, paprika and salt.
  3. Mix carefully using your hands, making sure the potatoes don’t get spoiled. Place the potatoes in an ovenproof dish and sprinkle with grated Violife Cheddar flavour.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 220ºC, until the Violife melts. Before serving, sprinkle with finely chopped chives.
