  • 1 large clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages Violife Just Like Cream Cheese Block

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme, plus additional for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large skillet, melt Plant Butter over medium heat. Add onions and salt and cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until golden, about 25 minutes. Add garlic and flour and cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let onions cool slightly, about 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in cream cheese, tamari, thyme and onion powder. Turn into 9-inch pie plate or 1-quart baking dish. Bake 20 minutes or until hot. Serve with crackers or chips for dipping.
