For the sugar cookies:
- 190g plant butter
- 2 teaspoons baking powder

Plant Butter Unsalted
- 375g all-purpose flour
- 200g granulated sugar
- 1 large egg, at room temperature
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- Christmas sprinkles of your choice
- 2 tablespoons milk of choice
For the creamy frosting:

1 Violife Supreme Creamy
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- To make the cookies: Preheat oven to 177°C.
- Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat together the plant butter and sugar until well combined.
- Stir in the egg, milk, and vanilla extract until fully combined. Slowly add the dry ingredients and mix until combined. Add some Christmas sprinkles, about 4 tbsps.
- Divide the dough in half. Roll out each half on a lightly floured surface to ¼ inch thick for crisp cookies or ⅜ inch for softer cookies. Cut with 5 to 7.5 cm cookie cutters. Place 5 cm apart on a baking sheet.
- Reroll any leftover sugar cookie dough and cut out more cookies as needed.
- Bake in separate batches at 175°C for 8 to 13 minutes or until the tops of the cookies are lightly browned.
- Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Make the frosting by whisking the ingredients in a bowl until creamy and fluffy.
- Place in a piping bag and decorate the cookies when cool.
- Sprinkle with Christmas sprinkles.
