Cranberry Le Rond Bites

  • 150 g Violife le rond Camembert flavour
  • 2 tbsp melted Violife vioblock for greasing the pan
  • 1 tube crescent dough
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup pecans chopped (Optional)
  • fresh rosemary sprigs for garnishing
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Cut the Le Rond into 12 equal pieces.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the crescent dough and use your fingers to pinch together the seams.
  4. Using a rolling pin flatten the pastry and use a square cookie cutter to cut into 12 squares.
  5. Grease a mini muffin tin with VIOBLOCK and place the squares into the muffin tin slots.
  6. Add a piece of Le Rond on top of each pastry square and top with cranberry sauce. Sprinkle with the chopped pecans and garnish with a little sprig of rosemary.
  7. Place in the oven and bake until the crescent pastry is golden, for about 7-8 minutes.
  8. Serve and enjoy while still warm!
