Cranberry Le Rond Bites
Cranberry Le Rond Bites is the perfect appetizer for the holidays! Perfectly sized and delicious with Violife Le Rond and VIOBLOCK. Impressive and vegan!

- 150 g Violife le rond Camembert flavour
- 2 tbsp melted Violife vioblock for greasing the pan
- 1 tube crescent dough
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup pecans chopped (Optional)
- fresh rosemary sprigs for garnishing
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Cut the Le Rond into 12 equal pieces.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the crescent dough and use your fingers to pinch together the seams.
- Using a rolling pin flatten the pastry and use a square cookie cutter to cut into 12 squares.
- Grease a mini muffin tin with VIOBLOCK and place the squares into the muffin tin slots.
- Add a piece of Le Rond on top of each pastry square and top with cranberry sauce. Sprinkle with the chopped pecans and garnish with a little sprig of rosemary.
- Place in the oven and bake until the crescent pastry is golden, for about 7-8 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy while still warm!
