French Toast with Creamy Glaze
Who doesn't love French toast? Make your own glaze with Violife Creamy and enjoy topped with your favourite berries.

- 2 - 3 tsp Violife vioblock for frying
- 2 cups oat milk
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- a pinch of salt
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 5 slices of thick vegan brioche bread
FOR THE GLAZE:
- 5 tbsp Violife creamy original
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- zest of half an orange
TO GARNISH:
- icing sugar
- fresh raspberries
- fresh blueberries
- fresh strawberries
- To make the glaze, in a pot over medium heat melt 3 tablespoons of Violife Creamy.
- Remove from heat and add in the remaining 2 tablespoons Violife Creamy. Whisk until melted and add in the remaining ingredients until nice and smooth.
- In a medium flat bowl, combine the oat milk, syrup, salt, corn starch and vanilla essence and whisk well.
- Dip your bread slices in the mixture one slice at a time, coating both sides evenly.
- Heat a medium pan over medium heat and melt some VIOBLOCK.
- Fry the French toast for 2-3 minutes on each side, flipping onto both sides until nice and golden.
- Stack the French toast slices on a plate and drizzle with the creamy glaze.
- Decorate with fresh berries and icing sugar.
