For the onion rings:
  • 3 yellow onions, sliced
For the batter:
  • 2 oz flour
  • 5.5 oz Unsweetened Plant-Based Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric
For the coating:
For the creamy dip:
  1. Mix the sauce ingredients together in a small bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Slice each onion into 1/2″ round slices and separate each ring from the other.
  3. Add all the ingredients for the batter to a medium bowl and mix well. Add all ingredients for the coating to a separate bowl and mix well.
  4. Dip each onion slice into the wet mixture, then transfer it to the dry mixture and coat evenly with breadcrumbs.
  5. Place on a greased or lined baking sheet or in the basket of your air fryer, if using. Repeat with the remaining onion slices. Bake for the 15 minutes.
  6. Serve with the creamy dip and sprinkle with extra chili flakes.
