For the dough
- 2.4 cups flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dried yeast
- 3/4 cups water
For the sauce
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
FOR THE TOPPING:
- 1 pack Violife Smoked Provolone Style slices
- 1 ghost cookie cutter
- 1/4 cups olives
- 1/4 cups capers
- fresh basil, to garnish
- Preheat oven to 390°F (200°C).
- To make the pizza dough add all ingredients to a mixing bowl; use your hands or a mixer to create a dough. When the dough is ready, form a ball and wrap in cling film and set aside in a warm and dry place.
- Meanwhile, make the marinara sauce by blending all ingredients together in a blender until combined.
- Use your cookie cutter to make ghost shapes out of the Violife slices.
- Once the dough is double in size roll out into a circle of 30cm. Place in your oven on a lined baking tray for 7-10 minutes. Remove from the oven and use a spoon to add your marinara sauce to the base. Top with your Violife ghosts, using olive slices and capers to give them eyes and bake for a further 5-6 minutes. When the pizza is ready garnish with basil leaves and serve.
